Ebenezer Ridges Intergenerational staff leadership team recently attended the Generations United 2017 Global Intergenerational Conference, in Milwaukee, WI. The one-of-a-kind 19th biennial conference provided an opportunity for professionals from all over the world to learn, network and share about innovative research, policies, and practices in the intergenerational field. The mission of Generations United is to improve the lives of children youth and older people through intergenerational collaboration, public policies, and programs for the enduring benefit of all. They do this in many ways, one of which is supporting, educating and connecting intergenerational shared sites like Ebenezer Ridges Child Care and Towerlight Child Care. Our team members here at Ridges had the opportunity to present and speak about the great work that we do.
Thank you to Jody Schumann and Christopher Beckman for preparing a wonderful presentation about the incredible and beautiful world of intergenerational programming within our organization. #AgeAmped #GensUnited17 #Intergen You can learn more about Generations United by going to their website: http://www.gu.org/HOME.aspx
